I am a Kent-based freelance creative copywriter and former copywriter at Penguin Children's, where I wrote marketing copy for some of the most popular authors and brands in children's literature today. These include Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake, Eric Carle, Allan Ahlberg, Puffin Classics, Jeff Kinney, Eoin Colfer, Beatrix Potter, Jacqueline Wilson, Meg Rosoff, Nick Hornby and many more.


Additionally, from 2011 I managed Roald Dahl’s marketing, working closely with the Roald Dahl Literary Estate and Quentin Blake's office. I also worked with a range of brand, media and retail partners, including British Airways, The Times, The Sun, Ford Cars, WH Smith and Waterstones to execute high-profile campaigns. I have over 15 years' copywriting and marketing experience;  from book blurbs to websites, TV and radio scripts to outdoor advertising campaigns, marketing materials, newsletters, creative concepts, brand strategy, campaign management and blogging.
In 2017, I was the opening speaker at the Copy Cabana copywriting conference, hosted by Copy Chief Vikki Ross and author Andy Maslen.
